Description: Outstanding Rod Carew professional model baseball bat c.1973-75 (PSA "GU 9.5"). Exceptional game bat dating to one of the most productive spans of Carew's Hall of Fame career which included League Leading performances in hits (1973 and 74) and batting average (1973, 74, and 75). Louisville Slugger 125 model bat with Carew facsimile signature in the barrel measures 34.5" long and weighs 33.2oz. Model number "C243" is factory stamped in the knob which has jersey number "29" (along with length/weight notations) written on in period black marker. Strong use is evident throughout ball, stitch, and cleat marks covering the barrel which has minor grain swelling (due to repeated contact). A handle crack has been repaired and there is a nice coat of pine tar. Includes LOAs from PSA/DNA (graded "GU 9.5") and Hunt Auctions: EXEstimated Price Range: ($2,000-$4,000)
