Description: Hank Aaron professional model baseball bat c.1975 (PSA "GU 7.5"). Louisville Slugger 125 model bat with Aaron facsimile signature in the barrel measures 35" long and weighs 32.5oz. Model number "A99" is factory stamped in the knob which has a vintage "44" player number notation. Light evident use and a small crack in the upper handle which has been expertly repaired. In addition there are a handful of bat rack streaks. The bat can be attributed to a lone order of bats which match this weight/length, and were done with a flame burned finish, that is dated March 17, 1975 in factory records. Then winding down one of baseballs' most celebrated careers, Hank Aaron would shift from the Braves (where he had played for 21 years) to the Brewers for his final two seasons. He made his final All-Star appearance in 1975 (one of 24 in total), added (12) home runs to an already impressive career total, and also broke the all-time RBI record on May 1st. An ideal late career game bat with fantastic provenance. Includes LOAs from PSA/DNA (graded "GU 7.5") and Hunt Auctions: EX
