Description: Bill Russell Boston Celtics warm-up jacket c.1960s. Green fleece jacket has "Boston" team name lettered across the front in white on yellow tackle twill. A "Russell" nameplate is snapped on the back. "Wilson" tag in the collar notes size (44) with an adjacent flag tag either never written on or with markings faded due to wear. Exceptionally well preserved with appropriate use and wash wear evident throughout. Issued to Russell at the height of his career serving as the anchor of a Celtics dynasty that claimed (11) NBA Championships. An iconic equipment piece as issued to one of the greatest players of all-time with exceptional provenance.
