Description: Bill Russell "CAM-MAL Award" trophy c.1950s. Very early figural trophy presumably presented to Russell while in attendance of McClymonds High School or University of San Francisco. Diminutive trophy stands 7" tall with copper loving cup at top and applied copper placard inscribed, "CAM-MAL Award Bill Russell" on the front. Fine general condition with light wear. Specific origins aside, the offered trophy is one of the earliest dating period examples within the Russell collection.
