Description: 1988 Oakland Athletics American League Championship ring presented to Scout Frank Franchi (EX/MT). Visually impressive 10K gold ring has large green center stone with inset "A's" logo comprised of (12) diamonds. "Oakland 1988 American League Champions" has been lettered around the top bezel. The left shank features the A's elephant holding a banner reading "American League Champs" underneath the name "Franchi". Opposite shank features "Athletics" team name above a relief of Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum with the years attendance "2,287,335" etched in along with the ALCS results "A's-4 B-0." Exhibits very light wear with "Jostens" manufacturer's stamp on inside band. Size 10.5.
