Description: 1951-55 Ted Williams professional model baseball bat (MEARS A6, EX). Louisville Slugger 125 model bat measures 35" long and weighs 33.9oz. Model "W166" is stamped on the knob end. The bat exhibits moderate usage wear with some swelling and ball marks at the top of the barrel. There is some moisture staining at the end of the barrel and a 5" long darkened area between the center and barrel brand. A few other minor scattered areas of surface wear and spotting are also evident. Bat is uncracked. Manufacturer and facsimile signature stampings remain quite bold. Excellent quality Williams game bat. Includes a Letter of Opinion from MEARS grading the bat A6: EXFinal Bid: $6,812.00
