Description: Vintage Brook Hill whiskey bottle with baseball player decorated silver plated overlay c.1892 (EX). 9.5" tall glass whiskey bottle with quadruple plate silver overlay. One side of the silver overlay features an etched depiction of a baseball player in batting position; and one side is etched "Brook Hill" in stylized lettering. The bottom of the silver overlay is marked Benedict Quadruple Plate. And the bottom of the bottle is marked "Patent Applied For March 15th, 1892". The silver overlay exhibits light surface wear with typical age discoloration evident: EXFinal Bid: $267.00
