Description: 1949 Babe Ruth watch with original box and plastic case (VG-EX). Produced by the Exacta Time Corporation. Includes original band, box, plastic baseball case, instruction pamphlet (Canadian version - Lotey Watch Co.), and vintage publication advertisement for the watch. The box, which depicts Ruth on two sides, reads "Official Babe Ruth Watch - The Sports Watch of Champions". Box exhibits a few tears and some restoration including the replacement of the top flaps and a small strip of copied graphics affixed to the top of one side. Original plastic case retains the inner cardboard insert and displays very well overall exhibiting little to no wear. The watch itself, which depicts Ruth with his facsimile signature beneath, retains its original band, exhibits minor surface wear, and does run.
