Lot includes (4) 16"x11" Mid-Week Pictorial covers featuring Babe Ruth, with one each from 1925, 1926, 1927 and 1928. Also included are an 15"x11" Aug. 18, 1948 Daily Mirror with coverage of the Ruth funeral with "Thousands File Past Ruth's Bier at Yankee Stadium" headline, and a June 23, 1948 copy of The Sporting News (full newspaper) with famed Babe Ruth Day photo on the cover.
