Description: 1948 Babe Ruth pictorial history with caption sheet from Ellott Service Company (VG/EX). Original 17"x14" Babe Ruth B&W photo collage/pictorial history from news service company, the Elliott Service Company of Mount Vernon, N.Y., issued just days after the iconic slugger's death. Accompaning the collage is a large "Good-bye, Mr. Baseball!" caption sheet dated Aug. 18, 1948, that chronicles The Bambino's career from his start with the Boston Red Sox to his final days as a Yankee, wearing the No. 3 uniform for the last time. Both collage and caption sheet have several corner creases and a few small tears, but retain outstanding eye appeal and are suitable for framing: VG/EX.Final Bid: $33.00
