Description: 1960 Hemmets Journal #23 Cassius Clay Rookie (Hand cut) (PSA VG-EX 4) Desirable Rookie card of the fighter who would come to be known as Muhammad Ali. Issued in Sweeden by Hemmets Journal as part of a set of cards featuring participants in the 1960 Rome Olympics that was done in four card pages. The offered example was skillfully cut from its' original sheet (included) and is graded "VG-EX 4" by PSA with "hand cut" noted on the flip. Corners are all sharp with grade factoring a small defect along one edge and what may be a minute (nearly imperceptible) surface wrinkle or two visible only upon the closest examination: PSA VG-EX 4 ($4,000-$6,000)Final Bid: $3,540.00
