Description: 1941-1956 Yankees vs. Dodgers World Series scorecards and other Series related pieces (GD-EX/MT) Includes original "Brooklyn National League" marked mailing envelope postmarked from 1947 along with a team issued apology card apologizing for World Series tickets having sold out. Card has a horizontal crease and some wear with two small pieces of tape on back. Additional paper slip has "Sold Out" option checked off (small tear at top edge); undated "World Series Scores" scorecard as issued by the "New York Central System" railroad as provided for passengers heading to Series; unscored oversized 1941 World Series scorecard with Yankees and Dodgers team photos inside. Brooklyn Eagle advertising on the outside. Approx. 8.5"xx11" when folded closed with scattered wear including a few creases; standard sized unscored 1947 World Series scorecard with some scattered light creases and wear; unscored 1956 World Series scorecard with creasing and discoloration; 1941 Dodgers yearbook noted on front cover as being a "World Series Edition."
