Description: Extensive 1925-2004 collection of Time Magazine with baseball cover subjects (41 different, 42 total) and (8) 1941-67 Life Magazine (Range GD to EX/MT-NM, Avg. EX) Impressive Archive includes many classic publications featuring a host of the notable players in baseball's history. Total of (42) Time Magazine issues represent a significant portion of those which have had a baseball player or related cover subject (there are about 11 issued from 1923 to 2013 which are not present that we are aware of). There are a total of (41) different and (1) duplicate of the July 29, 1929 edition which has Jimmy Foxx on the cover. The 1923 George Sisler cover issue is in technical GD/VG-VG condition with some lower spine separation and a light vertical fold along with some minor discoloration. There is a range of conditions throughout with average falling around EX and the overall range being GD to EX/MT-NM. The 1930s. Gabby Street, Jacob Ruppert, and Lefty Gomez covers have tape applied to bound edge. Portion have mailing labels attatched; also included is a 1945 Mel Ott cover "Pony Edition" (EX); LIFE Magazine issues (8 different) date from 1941-1967 and similarly fall in avg.
