Rare Joe Adcock Milwaukee Braves warm up jacket c.1957. Handsome black satin style jacket with embroidered tomahawk logo on front worn by Braves first baseman Joe Adcock. Jacket is very clean overall with light usage wear, retains orig. Wilson tag in collar and applied linen tape with ADCOCK-9 written in black ink. Jacket was obtained in the early 1960s by a Canadian gentleman after the owner of the Braves Lou Perini had left it at the Pecanokee Summit Lodge in Quebec which was owned by one of his companies. The lodge was subsequently sold with its contents incl. the jacket.
