Description: 1887 Baseball color lithographic print by L.Prang & Co., Boston. One of the most desirable of all 19th century baseball related prints depicting a game scene attributed to Harvard vs. Yale with the offered example exhibits strong color and clean surface. Has three repaired horizontal tears two of which are small in the upper right background area and a longer tear running from the umpire to the runner (All have been very nicely restored). Marked and dated lower left corner, slight loss at top border. 16”x22” matted and framed: EX (With note to restoration)
