Description: "Hood Canvas Shoes" store display with Jimmie Foxx c.1936. Die-cut tri-fold point of sale store display done by Hood to promote their line of canvas shoes. Hall of Famer Jimmie Foxx is pictured at the top along with Lawson Robertson, Head Coach of the 1936 U.S. Olympic Track and Field team. When set up, there is a platform at the center on a shoe would have been set and the sides can be angled in to allow it to stand freely. The piece is 22.75" tall with the center portion measuring 14" across and each side is 11" across. Displays in very nice overall condition with some light wear primarily visible to the top edge of the middle piece. Both sides are held in place with cloth tape that was presumably added later when they had separated: Displays EXEstimated Price Range: ($500-$1,000)
