Description: Balance of the Meador Collection incl. cards, premiums, and photos. Includes scrapbook (covers have fallen off and many pages have separated) which primarily contains c.1930s Detroit Tigers publication page clippings. Affixed throughout are (5) 1935 Goudey 4-in-1 cards (plus 2 which have been removed), (2) 1936 Goudey cards, and approx. (50) similar period Goudey or National Chicle premiums incl. Hank Greenberg, Charles Gehringer (with small autograph affixed below), Goose Goslin, Lefty Gomez, and Bill Dickey. Card highlights 1935 Rick Ferrell and 1936 Paul Waner. There are also some vintage Wrestling Exhibit postcards. None of the pieces can be removed without risk of damage and there is wear/chipping to nearly all pages; vintage 8"x10" photo showing Walter Johnson and Nick Altrock with members of the Detroit Tigers and some other non-uniformed men; (2) vintage photos of uniformed Tigers players posed with a Buick along with (2) vintage publication page clippings explaining that they had purchased the cards from the same salesman (along with several photos showing non-uniformed men, presumably some of these same players, with Buicks); vintage 8"x10" photo of a Detroit baseball stadium crowd; c.1910s-20s real photo postcard of youth baseball team; small metal souvenir baseball; soiled/toned Spalding F.Frick ONL ball with faint stampings; red and black stitched Wilson "American League" marked baseball; JoJo White vintage signed photo; and a few additional pieces.
