Description: Rogers Hornsby store model glove in beautiful pictorial box c.1920s. Adult size left hand three finger glove (with web) remains in outstanding condition with a touch of light age related wear and bold and well defined stamped in markings. "Hornsby Model" is impressed in the palm along with the number "632|. This number matches that which stamped on the side panel of the box. Box is among the more visual done in the period with colorful exterior graphics and Hornsby is again pictured on the inside of the lid. Wear includes a missing front lid flap and some splitting at seams. The front end panel has a horizontal crack and wear to the portion which this effects.
