Description: 1937 Walter Johnson single signed baseball noting his 50th birthday. Reach W.Harridge Official American League baseball has been signed "Walter Johnson" and inscribed "Nov 6, 1887-1937." Fountain pen signature rates approx. 6 out of 10. Ball has mild discoloration throughout along with a touch of light wear. A banquet was thrown in Washington on November 6, 1937 in honor of Johnson's 50th birthday. Period newspaper accounts state that more than (1,000) people were in attendance.
