Description: Scarce and outstanding 1990 Ken Griffey Jr. "The Kid" professional model baseball bat (PSA/DNA GU 10). Louisville Slugger 125 model black bat measures 33 3/4" long and weighs 30.5 ounces. The bat exhibits tremendous use including ball marks, stitching impressions, rack marks, and cleats impressions. Griffey Jr.'s trademark criss crossed handle tape is found intact on the handle area. Barrel displays model C271 stamping above very scarce "The Kid" block letter name stamp in silver celebrating Junior's iconic nickname when he entered MLB after his father's stellar career. One of only a scant few specimens possessing this desirable branding name stamp dating, specifically, to Griffey's first All Star Game and Gold Glove award season in 1990.
