Description: Ken Griffey Jr. autographed Seattle Mariners professional model batting helmet c.1999. Seattle Mariners professional model batting helmet as worn by Griffey Jr. having team decal on front and "24" numeral designation on back above MLB insignia decal. The helmet shows exceptional use including scuffing, general surface wear, and a pronounced crack on the back of the head area behind the right ear flap. Date code on interior crown area denotes January 1999 production indicating use by Griffey during his final season with the Mariners (first go around) until being traded to the Cincinnati Reds for the 2000 season. Signed by Griffey Jr. in silver sharpie across the bill of the helmet. Very rare game equipment piece from the greatest player in Mariners franchise history.
