Description: Large format Kansas City Athletics banner c.1950s-60s. Magnificent oversized banner done in felt has "Kansas City Athletics" team name applied to the front along with a beautifully rendition of their early team logo. Measures around (5) feet tall by (8) feet wide and it would have hung by a dowel through loops at the top. While the exact intention for its' use is unknown it is done at the highest level of craftsmanship and was more than likely in use for team related functions.
