Description: Frank Robinson professional model baseball bat c.1965-68 - MVP Award and Championship era (PSA "GU 8.5"). Louisville Slugger 125 model bat with Robinson facsimile signature in the barrel measures 35" long and weighs 33.9oz. Model number "R161" is factory stamped in the knob and is highlighted in vintage black marker. Outstanding use is evident throughout with ball/contact marks predominantly appearing on the right and left barrel. In addition there are cleat marks and some green rack streaks. A small handle crack has been expertly repaired. The 1965-68 time period was one of the most productive of Robinson's career with his efforts during the 1966 season (when he lead the American League in average, home runs, RBI, and runs) earning a Most Valuable Player Award. It was his first season in Baltimore and he helped lead the Orioles to a World Series Championship.
