Description: 1969 Matty Alou Pittsburgh Pirates professional model home jersey. Classic cream color vest style jersey retaiining its original "Pirates" team name across the front with matching "18" on front and back. Rawlings manufactuer's label affixed to tail front along with Dry Clean tag and "Set 1 1969" flag tag. The shirt shows excellent use and wash wear including few tiny holes and some minimal fraying to piping. One interior seam reinforced hemline and chip to one button as well. Alou was a mainstay for the Buccos during the period with the offered example rating as one of the finer of his game jerseys to have enntered the marketplace.
