Description: St. Louis Browns professional model hat c.1952-53. Brown hat has the "STL" logo embroidered on front and white button accent. "Tim McAuliffe" tag appears on the interior leather band which has the size (7) stamped in. Player number "18" is written on the band (twice) and inside the body of the cap in vintage black marker. This number was worn by Jim Delsing and Dick Littlefield in 1952 and again by Littlefield in 1953. Well preserved with light evident use and a touch of age/storage related wear (a very small chip is missing from the leather band).
