Description: 1895 A.J. Reach and Bill Shettsline autographed 1891 New York Giants stock certificate (PSA/DNA 6 EX-MT). Stock certificate is number (31) and was issued in 1891 for (50) shares of "The National Exhibition Company" in the name of Alfred J. Reach. Signed on the back "Alfred J. Reach" with his witness being "Wm J Shettsline." Reach is well known a Legendary purveyor of sports equipment and Shettsline would go on the Manage and later own the Philadelphia Phillies. It is also signed on the front by team President John B. Day and Treasurer J.W. Spalding. The signatures have been graded "EX-MT 6" by PSA however that factors the Day and Spalding, which are stamped over and effected by punch holes, and in our opinion the Reach and Shettline signatures rate 8 out of 10 or better. Wear includes light scattered toning/discoloration and creases/wrinkles along with discoloration on the left edge. "Cancelled" upon redemption with stamps to that effect on the front and punch holes along the lower edge. Authenticated and encapsulated by PSA with "Stoneham Collection" pedigree noted on the label and includes the original "stub" portion from the Giants stock certificate book: Sigs.
