Description: Bill Russell's 50 Greatest Players Autographed Presentational Lithograph: Russell 1/1. Iconic and significant color lithographic print as commissioned in 1996 by the NBA through "Field of Dreams" displaying the players selected to the Greatest 50 Payers in NBA History. Each player vignette features a pencil signature beneath their respective image to include: Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Nate Archibald, Paul Arizin, Charles Barkley, Rick Barry, Elgin Baylor, Dave Bing, Larry Bird, Wilt Chamberlain, Bob Cousy, Dave Cowens, Billy Cunningham, Dave DeBusschere, Clyde Drexler, Julius Erving, Patrick Ewing, Walt Frazier, George Gervin, Hal Greer, John Havlicek, Elvin Hayes, Magic Johnson, Sam Jones, Michael Jordan, Jerry Lucas, Karl Malone, Moses Malone, Kevin McHale, George Mikan, Earl Monroe, Shaquille O’Neal, Hakeem Olajuwon, Robert Parish, Bob Pettit, Scottie Pippen, Willis Reed, Oscar Robertson, David Robinson, Bill Russell, Dolph Schayes, Bill Sharman, John Stockton, Isiah Thomas, Nate Thurmond, Wes Unseld, Bill Walton, Jerry West, Lenny Wilkens, and James Worthy. Pistol Pete Maravich was the only electee who was not living and thus not autographed. Signatures obtained in person from each player and NBA Commissioner David Stern’s signature also appears in lower right. Pencil notation at lower left , "Russell 1/1" indicative of Russell's personal copy. A scant number of personal player examples of this iconic signed print have entered the marketplace since its creation in 1996.
