Description: Jimmie Dykes Chicago White Sox professional model Manager's jersey c.1940-41. Cream color flannel jersey has the "Sox" team logo on left front chest and number "5" on back. Goldsmith tag is in the collar with adjacent size "44" tag. In very fine overall condition with use evident throughout along with some minor toning/discoloration. Light age related wear includes a few very small holes and there is a slightly larger hole on front which has been repaired. A rare style which was worn from 1939-41 and can be narrowed to 1940-41 given the lack of Centennial patch. Includes LOA from Hunt Auctions: EXEstimated Price Range: ($3,000-$5,000)
