Description: 1931 Jack Crouch St. Louis Browns professional model road jersey. Flannel jersey has "St. Louis" team name embroidered across the front and number "10" on back done in brown felt. The majority of a Rawlings tag remains in the collar (minor loss and some separation) and the name "Crouch" is chain stitched in the front tail. Rare style displays nicely with general use and age related wear throughout which includes a few scattered spots of discoloration. There is a small hole in the upper back where the material has degraded and two of the buttons are replacements. An included LOA from MEARS relays their belief that they jersey may have also been worn by Bennie Bengough who was issued the number "10" after Crouch was released by the team.
