Description: Fine Roberto Clemente professional model baseball hat c.1950-60s (MEARS Authentication). Classic black hat with embroidered gold "P" on front. Interior retains its original leather headband with Rawlings manufacturer's label. Exceptional overall use including perspiration toning and general soiling throughout while remaining in all original condition. Leather headband has expected flaking and few small tears from use an bill has center fold/crack line to the interior from use. Vintage "21" written in red on interior of crown area as commonly seen with Clemente game hats. Size measures approx. 6 7/8" as consistent with other known exemplars.
