Description: Very rare Luther "Dummy" Taylor single signed baseball (d.1958). Clean light cream color Wilson "American Association" baseball signed across the sweet spot by Taylor in blue ink rating 7/8 out of 10. Taylor is very notable as the game's only successful deaf pitcher playing from 1900-1908 with the New York Giants and Cleveland Bronchos. He was considered a role model to the deaf community in the early 20th century and quite possibly was the highest paid deaf individual in the country. First and only example we have handled.
