Description: Important 1913-14 "World's Tour of Baseball" autograph album. Historic autograph album as accompanied a roster of some of baseballs' strongest early 20th talent on a trip which saw stops in among other places Japan, Australia, Egypt, and Italy. The was signed in both 1913 and 1914 with all whom added their autograph inscribing an extra sentiment above. Signers include Charles Comiskey, Tris Speaker, John McGraw (and wife), Sam Crawford (and wife), George Wiltse (and wife), Larry Doyle (and wife), Mickey Doolin (Doolan), Ivy Wingo, Bill Klem (and wife), Tom Daly, Buck Weaver, Mike Donlin, Jimmy Callahan, Steve Evans, Germany Schaefer (signed "Prince Henry"), Jim Thorpe (and wife), Joe Benz, Dick Egan, Red Faber, Walt Leverenz, Lee Magee, Bunny Hearn, Jim Scott, and Fred Merkle. There are some additional autographs of people who may have been involved with the tour and a few later pages with what appear to be a list of persons' that participants met (including King George V and Pope Pius) however these are not autographs. Signatures rate 7 to 9/10 out of 10. Handling and storage wear the album and a handful of pages have come loose. Incredible rarity with several examples which may well be the finest of their type/medium. Includes full LOA from PSA/DNA: EX-NM
