Description: Baseball figural music box c.1920s. Ornate silver-plated figural music box is composed of a baseball shaped compartment atop diamond base with crossed bats decoration. The lid to the baseball compartment lifts to reveal a windup music box which plays "Take Me Out To The Ball Game". Of the highest quality construction with design etched throughout the surface. One of only a handful of examples which we have offered with this being the first of its' diminutive size (stands just under 3.5" tall with 5"x4" base).
