Description: Exceptional 1970 Harmon Killebrew Minnesota Twins professional model road uniform (SGC/Grob Superior)(MEARS A10)(AL West Champions). Grey flannel jersey retaining its original "Twins" team name in blue on red tackle twill across the front with matching "3" on the verso. "Killebrew" chain stitched on strip tag within the collar with Twins insignia patch on left sleeve. Bottom of the tail front has "Killebrew 3 44 70 Set 2" chain stitched along with Spalding mfg. tag and size "44" supplemental tag. Wonderful evident use and wash wear is visible throughout including appropriate "puckering" to the numerals/letters and general light age toning. Killebrew has autographed the front of the jersey in blue marker. Matching grey flannel pants retain Spalding mfg. tagging inside the waistband with elongated chain stitched strip tag displaying, "Killebrew 37/38, 3, 25, 70" and smaller "Set 2" strip tag. The pants show evident use and are also signed by Killebrew in blue marker. The Minnesota Twins captured their second straight AL West championship in 1970 behind the slugging of Killebrew who hammered 41 home runs and knocked in 113 RBIs finishing third in the AL MVP voting. Outstanding Killebrew game uniform which presents as one of the finest we have encountered.
