Description: Rare 2009 Derek Jeter autographed USA World Baseball Classic professional model jersey. White knit jersey with "USA" team name across the front and "2" in red on blue tackle twill. Back of the jersey displays "Jeter" nameplate above red/blue number "2" in tackle twill. Majestic '09 World Baseball Classic label on tail front with "Cool Base" and "48" flag tags at seam area. Interior tail has proper wash code label. U.S. flag and 2009 WBC patches remain attached to each sleeve. Jeter has autographed the front of the jersey, "To Barry, Thanks for all your help! Derek Jeter" in blue sharpie. Jersey shows appropriate light use/wash wear as Jeter primarily served as the designated hitter for the United States team with Jimmy Rollins playing shortstop. Barry Larkin was serving as a coach for the U.S. team and was given the jersey directly by Jeter after one of the games. Incredible rarity with direct provenance from one Hall of Fame shortstop to another.
