Description: Rare 2002-2003 Kobe Bryant autographed Los Angeles Lakers professional model road jersey. Purple road knit jersey with "Lakers" team name in gold on white tackle twill with "8" on front. Back of jersey displays "Bryant" lettering with "8"' below which has been autographed in black sharpie, "To Barry, Best Wishes from Kobe Bryant". Proper Lakers/Nike manufacturer's label affixed to tail front having "Length + 4" flag tag. Interior tail retains wash label and also "Lakers 2002-2003" year tag. The shirt appears to exhibit light use/wash wear. The jersey was obtained directly from Kobe Bryant by Barry Larkin after a Lakers game. Bryant had become acquainted with Larkin as his son Shane was playing high school basketball and ended up drawing the attention of Bryant. Both Barry and Shane Larkin attended the Lakers game and received the jersey from Bryant who also signed it. During the 2002-2003 season the Lakers had Chick Hearn memorial armbands on their jerseys throughout the year to which the offered jersey does not display same.
