Description: Lou Gehrig Farewell Day photograph (PSA/DNA Type II). Iconic black and white 7"x9" image picturing Gehrig delivering his famed "Luckiest Man Alive" speech on July 4, 1939 at Yankee Stadium. Image quality is superb with flawless clarity and contrast. Reverse is stamped by Acme Newspictures (1947-52 stamping) and was printed from the original negative in 1949. Pencil notation tilting as well on the back.
