Uncommon and rarely seen image as taken during ceremonies at Yankee Stadium to honor Lou Gehrig on July 4, 1939. Black and white photo measures 7"x11" picturing attending teammates of Gehrig's from the 1927 Yankees to include Ruth, Lazzeri, Hoyt, Pennock, Koenig, and Combs.
