Description: Dutch Ruether professional model baseball bat c.1928-30 (PSA/DNA "GU 6"). Louisville Slugger 125 model bat with "Ruether" block lettered in the barrel measures 35" long and weighs 35.9oz. Strong usage wear evident throughout with ball, contact, and cleat marks along with a handle crack that has been repaired with many small nails. Also present are remnants of a shipping label and faint factory side writing (reading "Tony Rego 9-13-29") suggesting use by another player. Reuther was a member of two of history's most storied teams; the 1919 Cincinnati Reds and 1927 New York Yankees. Includes LOAs from PSA/DNA and Hunt Auctions: EXEstimated Price Range: ($750-$1,250)
