Description: Walter Beall attributed vault marked baseball bat. Unmarked bat measuring 35" long, weighs 36.9oz, and has "Beall" block lettered in the barrel and both ends. As noted on the included PSA/DNA LOA, "Prior to the stamping of model numbers on bats returned by the players to be used as patterns for future orders...the players name was stamped on the knob and top of the barrel and at times on the face of the barrel...This vault marked bat is attributed to Walter Beall...we must also consider Johnny Beall as a candidate for this bat." The absence of manufacturers markings does not allow for precise dating but PSA states "our best estimate is that it is circa 1915." Uncracked with mild scattered use/wear. Beall played with the Yankees in the mid-1920s and was a member of their famed 1927 team. Includes LOAs from PSA/DNA and Hunt Auctions: EXEstimated Price Range: ($500-$750)
