Description: 1958 Ernie Lombardi Cincinnati Reds "Hall of Fame" plaque. Wooden plaque as presented on July 18, 1958 at Crosley Field has ornate metalwork on the front which includes a pair of engraved metal plates. The first appears at top and reds "Cincinnati Redlegs Hall of Fame." Lengthy text on the lower plate reads in part, "Be it known...Ernie Lombardi has been elected to the Cincinnati Redlegs Hall of Fame...in recognition of his extraordinary value and achievements..." Measures 15"x10" with some light scattered wear including a few scratches. Includes an 8"x10" photo (framed to 13.5"x15.5") showing Lombardi and others holding their plaques at the ceremony during which they were presented: EX-EX/MTEstimated Price Range: ($500-$750)
