Description: Significant Babe Ruth Major League Baseball "All-Century Team" presentational pocket watch by Tiffany & Co. Exceptional quality gold pocket watch as commissioned by Major League Baseball to be given to players and/or their respective families in honor of selection to the All Century Team in 1999. Selected through a voting process by fans and baseball historians, the team denoted the greatest 100 players of the past century. Appropriately, the Babe was voted in the group with one of the two highest vote totals (Lou Gehrig) among elected players. The handsome watch displays the MLB All Century Team logo on one panel with "Babe Ruth Outfielder" engraved on the other exterior panel. Interior reveals a white porcelain dial marked Tiffany & Co. Retains its original gold link chain, original hinged lid Tiffany & Co. box, exterior box, and related watch manuals. One of the more exclusive baseball related groups with the offered watch being one of only a scant few having been offered publicly and without question the most significant among that small number.
