Description: Rare 1927 New York Yankees team photograph autographed and inscribed to Juanita and Charles (Ellias) by Babe Ruth. Large format 10"x14" matted and framed sepia tone image depicting the 1927 World Champion Yankees posed in full uniform. Signed in blue fountain pen at bottom margin, "To Charlie and Juanita, From Babe Ruth 1927". Signature and salutation range from 6 to 8 out of 10. The photo itself retains fine clarity and contrast with some typical light surface crazing and wrinkling. Based on dating of 1926 for Charles and Juanita's marriage we can place the dating of the image itself between 1927 and 1948. Highly uncommon and desirable signed large format with inscribed 1927 dating by Ruth.
