Description: Very fine Babe Ruth professional model baseball bat c.1928 (PSA/DNA GU9). Louisville Slugger 125 model bat with Ruth facsimile signature burned into the barrel measures 35" long and weighs 40.7oz. Uncracked with outstanding usage wear evident throughout including ball, contact, and cleat marks indicative of Ruth batting characteristics. Blue and green bat racks streak marks are also clearly visible on the upper handle and barrel of the bat. The bat is of a white hickory which in combination with the specific bat stampings and specifications we can place the date period to 1928. An outstanding example of a Babe Ruth game bat dating to the pinnacle of his Hall of Fame career which presents at an uncommonly desirable high condition grade and weight category.
