Description: Harry Hooper attributed professional model baseball bat c.1910s. Hand turned unmarked baseball bat measures 35" long and weighs 35oz. The name "Hooper" has been block lettered into the barrel in (3) places in similar fashion to bats which are known to have emanated from the Louisville Slugger factory. Uncracked with strong usage wear evident throughout including ball and contact marks. While relation of the bat to Harry Hooper specifically can only be attributed it is worthy of note that there were no other Major League players with whom he shared that last name in the period. An exceedingly rare bat and one of only a few with relation to the four time Red Sox Championship team member to have surfaced.
