Description: Lot of (31) oversized baseball portrait photographs from the Hillerich & Bradsby Co. Archives c.1970s. Set of exceptional original color portraits as taken for promotional use by Louisville Slugger brand depicting players in uniform holding their personal model bat. Players include Dave Winfield, Pete Rose, Ozzie Smith (rookie era), Dave Parker, Bill Buckner, and Steve Garvey. All measure 11"x14" with "Louisville Slugger" and "Gaines DuVall Sports Portraits" impressed in gilt lettering at the bottom. All but a few are mounted on thick stock photo board. Very fine lot with excellent breakdown value. Includes letter of provenance from the Hillerich & Bradsby Co: EX/MT-NMEstimated Price Range: ($400-$600)
