Description: Rare 1963 Topps Mickey Mantle plaque premium. Embossed plastic plaque (6"x8") designed to look like a framed picture shows Mickey Mantle during the height of his career with the New York Yankees. Believed to have been issued by Topps, likely as a mail in offer, these are exceedingly scarce and seldom come available. Long displayed by our consignor within the included 9"x11" frame and when inside it presents very nicely with only the central portion visible. When removed it becomes evident that there is heavy wear to the borders including several cracks and areas of missing material. There are also two spots of wear on Mantle's face.
