Description: Rare P.F. Flyers "Big League Baseball Stars on TV" advertising display c.1953-54. Large format advertising piece done in the early 1950s includes portrait likenesses of some of the most notable players of the period including Mickey Mantle, Roy Campanella, Stan Musial, Robin Roberts, Phil Rizzuto, George Kell, and Nelson Fox. Tastefully displayed in a 25"x31" frame (visible area approx. 18.5"x24.5") with a few minor evident flaws including small scuffs, spots of discoloration, and a more pronounced scrape to the forehead area of George Kell. It does appear that a small amount of color was added on either side of the red area along the bottom (an potentially a few spots within the green background).
