Description: 1948 Richie Ashburn rookie year signed handwritten letter, JSA (VG/EX-EX). Early career handwritten letter in which Ashburn discusses potential off season work. Dated November 24, 1948 and signed at the close "Rich A" in period ink rating 8 out of 10. Longer paper sheet folds over itself several times and measures 4.25"x6.25" when used as intended. Exhibits age toning and light wear throughout, with typical horizontal centerfold, and small area of soiling on front.
