Description: 2006 St. Louis Cardinals World Series display including (5) full tickets (NM). The 2006 World Series matched the AL champion Detroit Tigers against the NL champion, St. Louis Cardinals. The Cardinals won the Series in five games, taking Games 1, 3, 4 and 5. The Tigers won game 2 amidst the controversy over the apparent foreign substance on Kenny Rogers' hand. This was the third Series meeting between the Tigers and the Cardinals. St. Louis won the first in 1934, and Detroit won the second in 1968; each went the full seven games. The offered framed display includes full tickets to all five games, a pair of World Series patches and a photo of the Cardinals victory celebration in the clubhouse. Tickets appear to be NM with exception of game 5 (small crease).Final Bid: $222.00
